ANNE-MARIE MITCHINSON, RVT
Registered Veterinary Technician
I grew up in Niagara on the Lake and have always loved the area. I have always loved animals and grew up with many cats around but it was not until I completed my high school grade 11 co-op here at Upper Canada Animal Hospital that I knew being an RVT was what I wanted to do. After graduating from the Veterinary Medical Office Administration program at Ridgetown College in 2007 I returned to Upper Canada to complete yet another placement as a receptionist. From here I continued my studies, graduating from the Veterinary Technician program at Georgian College in 2009, and accepted a position with Dr. Turpel as a Registered Veterinary Technician.
I now live in St. Catharines with my husband Steve, our daughter Jodi, "Malibu" our little trouble maker long haired torti and "Marlee", our lazy but loveable Golden Retriever. I don't forget about my "Fur baby" at my childhood home though, "goofy, a polydactyl cat gets frequent visits from me. In my spare time I play dodgeball during the winter and slo-pitch and ball hockey in the spring and summer. I also enjoy spending as much time with family and friends as possible.
